We are proud to announce the release of ConSteel 6. This exciting new release includes extensive new software developments for faster and more effective structural steel design.
The main new features of ConSteel 6:
Automatic wind load generation according EuroCode 1 (EN 1991-1-4)
- Fully automatic for typical buildings
- Wind load for regular monopitch, duopitch, flat roofs and irregular walls
- Semi-automatic wind load calculation for non-standard roof shapes

Composite and reinforced concrete column design
- Composite design according to EuroCode 4
- Usual composite and concrete macro sections can be designed
- 3D resistance surface and stress analysis

Fire design
- Fire effect and protection definition according to EuroCode 1 (EN 1991-1-2)
- Steel member check according EuroCode 3 (EN 1993-1-2)
- Different fire curves can be selected: standard ISO, external and hydrocarbon
EuroCode National Annex manager
- Different National Annexes can be selected and viewed on the new National Annex manager window
- New National Annexes can be defined by the user
- Currently the following National Annexes are available: EN Hungarian NA, EN Dutch NA, EN Finnish NA, EN Portugal NA, and EN Singapore NA

- Basic settings can be saved and exported
- Default bolt size, plate thickness, weld size, etc. can be set
Error reporting
- Improved error reporting gives users the opportunity to send data about errors to ConSteel developers and to receive information about them. Error reporting helps the developers to improve the quality of ConSteel software.
