We are delighted to announce the release of ConSteel 5.0. This innovative ConSteel release includes extensive new software developments for more effective structural steel design and for more user friendly handling.
There are many new features in ConSteel 5.0 including serviceability checks, unique member stability design according to EuroCode, and the long expected bi-directional link between Tekla Structures and ConSteel. In addition to the numerous new features, ConSteel 5.0 has enhanced overall stability and faster analysis than ever before.
The main new features of ConSteel 5.0:
- Distribute surface loads to members (snow, wind, etc)
- Member design module which allows the user to analyze stability for an individual member or for a member group more thoroughly by using the latest methods of the EuroCode standard
- More user friendly handling: new start-up screen, new analysis and design dialog windows
- Buckling eigenvalue calculation and design for model portions
- Handling of EuroCode national annexes (NA)
- Serviceability limit checks
- Bidirectional link between ConSteel and Tekla Structures. The possibility to export the whole ConSteel model to Tekla Structures including all the designed joints
